About Me
I have been a designer for 5+ years, and I'm continuing to develop my skills everyday! From flyers to billboards, subway advertisements to social media campaigns, I've created theoretically informed designs that build a story and impart a sense of connection and wonder. I thrive in interdisciplinary environments where I can learn from others' experiences in order to create rich, innovative projects.
In tandem with being a designer, I am a budding learning scientist. I am pursuing my Master's of Education in Learning Sciences and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, where I explore the ways in which people learn from written and visual media. I believe that each design is an instance of learning, a moment where our world is reflected and reformed.
As a learning sciences student I have analyzed the effectiveness of platforms like Duolingo and PBS Kids, and I've designed my own learning environments as well. The science of learning grounds me in designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but scientifically informed.
